10 Ways to Write Thank You Practice Sheets

Tomorrow I’m going to release a new free download to my subscribers as part of my Lettering Toolkit: 10 Ways to Write Thank You. So in today’s video, I show you my process for creating those ten designs. With these printable and Procreate practice sheets, you can learn many styles of hand lettering “thank you” while creating a design of a common phrase you could use in other artwork.

My overall process for each of these designs is pretty similar. I pick a different guide each time from my Calligraphy Composition Maker, which is one of my Procreate brush packs for lettering grids and guides. I reduce the opacity of that guide layer, and then sketch my lettering with a pencil brush. Then I reduce the opacity of that layer, and create the final design using a number of different Calligraphy Nib Brushes. In the video, I display the name of each brush I’m using on the screen when I start to use it.
